Pruning Cuts:
There are 3 types of pruning Cut.

1/ A reduction Cut: This reduces the length of a branch or stem back to a live lateral branch of sufficient size to sustain growth

2/ A heading cut: This reduces the length of a stem or branch without regard to the position or diameter of nearby lateral branches

3/A removal cut or Collar Cut removes a branch form the trunk or parent branch just outside the Collar.
